You finished the Build Different cohort (or you didn't but you're definitely ready for ongoing support). Your thing exists, or it nearly does. And then...you stall. Because if we're honest with ourselves, sometimes (often) having the accountability, support and someone giving a sh*t about what we're doing is the thing that keeps us moving.
And yes, you could ask AI. But critical thinking is truly not its strength. You - and only you - need to make the critical strategic calls and AI can then help you execute them, if you prompt it well (we'll cover this!).
Build Different is the four-week programme that first gets you moving - to research, test, validate and ideally sell your idea. But building it out - and keeping it moving and growing around everything else already on your plate - takes longer than four weeks. So now it's time to lock in...are you ready?
What Lock In is
A monthly, paid space for people who've done the thinking, the research, the testing and are now ready to build. There are no additional courses inside and no content library - this is the space to lock in and do the ongoing work, with my support. You'll learn enough, by doing.
Every month, you'll get:
- Live group call - a working group session. Bring what you're stuck on, and I'll help to get you moving.
- Hot Seat - one member's problem, live, solved in front of the group; everyone leaves with something useful, even if it's not your specific problem.
- Build Data thread - the place to log, track and share what you're building. This includes: (1) Monthly figures (2) Your build log (3) What you stopped/failed with (4) 'Productivity' aka how you're doing fitting it all in. Self-led accountability, and no chasing.
Who this is for...
This is for people who've already started, or are close to starting - from a Build Different cohort, or anyone who's done the early thinking and wants to lock in. This is the time to start building and stay on track, rather than start another course you only half-finish with nothing to show for it.
If you haven't started yet or you're still at the idea stage? This isn't the space for you - get the early thinking done with Build Different first, then come back in to Lock In.
What this isn't
This isn't a Facebook group or a library full of other content and programmes to do on your own. If you want to surround yourself with people who are also locked in, building something week in, week out and holding each other to account...and with all the experience and support I bring to the table to help you, this is it.
Questions & answers
I haven't done a Build Different cohort. Can I still join?
Yes absolutely - apply or join the waitlist when there is one. Lock In is not restricted to cohort alumni, but I do assume you've already done some early thinking, research and testing. If you're still at the idea stage, start with Build Different to help you test your ideas and see which one to move forward with.
What if I miss a month - or a call, a thread...all of it?
Nothing happens. I'm not going to chase you and there's no penalty. Post your status update when you're back, and lock in again.
Can I pause instead of cancelling?
Cancel and rejoin whenever - on the same terms, no reapplication needed.
I'm on the £47 cohort or founding rate - what happens if I leave and come back later?
The £47 rate remains for as long as your membership stays continuous. If you cancel and rejoin at any later date, you come back in at the standard rate - currently £97/month.
What if my business changes direction, or I stop the thing entirely?
That's what the Graveyard is for. A pivot is a normal thing here, not a reason to feel ashamed. You pivot, start again and rebuild, and I'll help you with that. Goodness knows I've done it enough times myself over the past two decades!
It's been a while since the cohort - I've stalled and now feel stuck. Is that a problem?
No. Come back to a working session, say what you're stuck on and that's where we'll start from.

Who leads Lock In?
I'm Lea Jovy. For over two decades I've built and rebuilt things - as a management consultant at Accenture, as the co-founder of an investor-backed EdTech company (in the US) that reached an eight-figure valuation, as the founder of Mission Equality CIC (a community interest company in the UK), and as an interim executive brought into European organisations that need to change quickly and credibly.
I've started from scratch more than once. I've built teams, raised funding, closed six-figure deals, and walked away from things that weren't right. And I've spent years helping other people work out what to build and how to actually build it.
